Gilyarovsky Center (Moscow) organised art laboratory and exhibition dedicated to Moscow storytelling based on the famous book of V.A.Gilyarovsky "Moscow and Moscovites". Several modern artists worked with six areas of the center of Moscow. As a result of their experience art projects were presented within the exhibition.

Curators: Alexander Chernavskiy and Darya Potseluyeva

Together with Victoria Demidova we prepared two projects:

"Sound portrait of the city". We investigated three places - Teatralnaya square, Sukharevskaya square and Bolshaya Dmitrovka street - in search of the sound marks of those places.

"The name is the only thing that remains".

This project is about the area of Sukharevskaya square. We worked with the linguistic memory of the place and gathered memories from personal interviews with those people who live there, city toponyms, mass media etc.

As the result we built alternative map of the place which the names and information collected from people memories.
